Radix, flamenco à la VAN3uard

A flamenco dancer from Extremadura, of temperament, sense and technique, she began her training at the Luis del Río Professional Conservatory in Córdoba. She has also trained with dancers of the stature of Eva Yerbabuena, Mercedes de Córdoba, El Junco and Antonio Canales, among others.
‍
She has been part of La Fura dels Baus in the show Amor Brujo and has performed in numerous countries such as Japan, Taiwan and much of Europe. She has danced at flamenco festivals such as Jerez, FFFB in Badajoz and the Aldea Moret Flamenco Festival in Cáceres, among others. She holds a first prize in dance, “Mario Maya”, from the Córdoba Provincial Council, and three second prizes from the Federación de Peñas of Seville, the National Competition of the City of Ubrique and the Flamenco Dance and Spanish Dance Competition of Almería.

Born in Nerva (Huelva), José Carlos is a percussionist, guitarist, flamenco singer and singer-songwriter. In 2019 he finished his studies as a percussionist at the CSM Victoria Eugenia in Granada.

His experience in music is extensive: he has been part of numerous flamenco ensembles as a percussionist, guitarist, backing vocalist and singer; as a percussionist in orchestras such as the Orquesta Joven de Andalucía and the Málaga Philharmonic; and as vocalist and guitarist in his own groups, Jakaranda, Rincón 34 and Entreverao. He has also produced two of his three albums in his home studio.

He began writing songs in 2014, and composing and producing is what he enjoys most today. In 2019 he won first prize in the “Tu voz en la Onda” competition organised by Onda Cero Granada, and at the end of that same year he won second prize in the singer-songwriter competition of Murcia.

Born in Almendralejo (Badajoz), where he began his musical studies. He later broadened his violin training at the Badajoz Higher Conservatory with Olga Vilkomirskaia, combining it with jazz bass under Enrique Tejado.

He has been a member of several youth orchestras, such as OJEX and JOSSV, and has worked with the OEX on numerous occasions.

He has performed at the Iberian Festival of Badajoz with different chamber groups; in 2014 he joined a recording project with Roberto Iniesta (singer of Extremoduro), recording two albums: “Lo que aletea en nuestras cabezas” and “Destrozares: Canciones para el fin de los tiempos”. He later joined the tour with this band.
